Vic Mastis
Through the use of design, composition and color, Vic Mastis' intention is to express a feeling of atmospheric presence and create a unique mood for each piece. She uses times of day, such as the mystery of twilight, the excitement of morning, or the revealing light of noon to stimulate the senses of the viewer.
Her work has been seen in the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, New York as well as in Florida's Fort Walton Museum. Through these and many other venues, she has won many awards. Her paintings are found in various private collections, including Anheuser-Busch, The Cancer Center at St. Johns, Dr Hartmann, and Instrument Music Store.
Vis also founded the Gateway Pastel Artists in 1998 which is affiliated with the International Pastel Society.
